New Girl Pictures LLC is a production company founded by Laura Hunter Drago and Samantha Macher, focused on creating content for and by women.

Our first feature film, To the New Girl, premiered at the TCL Chinese 6 in Hollywood to rave reviews and was given the Women in Media Gender Parity Badge. The film screened at numerous festivals and won awards for Best Feature for a First Time Filmmaker and Best Writing at the Queen Palm Festival. The film is currently streaming on platforms worldwide. 

Additionally, our micro-length animated film The Echo won runner-up in the Coven Film Festival in 2020 and we are developing a handful of new feature-length projects. 

We also create fully-cast, scripted audio drama podcasts including St. Mary’s School (for Children with the Stigmata) which has over 60K listeners worldwide.
